Cookie Policy

One cookie, set by us. This page lists it and explains what turning it off costs.

Our cookie

pz_uid — a random identifier issued by our server the first time the site has to remember something for you. It is httpOnly, so no script on the page can read it, and it is first-party, so it is never sent anywhere but here.

It is what makes these work:

  • Favorites, so a saved game is still saved on your next visit.
  • Recently played, so the home page can offer what you were in the middle of.
  • Your daily streak.

It holds an identifier and nothing else — no name, no email, no history inside the cookie itself. What it points at is described in the privacy policy.

What we do not set

No analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, no cross-site tracker. That is why you were not asked to accept anything on your way in: there is no non-essential cookie here to consent to.

Cookies inside games

A game runs in a frame from its publisher, and that frame is a different site with its own cookies — typically for saving progress and for the advertising the publisher shows. We do not set them, cannot read them, and they are governed by that publisher policy rather than by this one.

Blocking third-party cookies in your browser stops those without affecting anything on our pages.

Turning ours off

Clear cookies for this site, or block them, in your browser settings. Nothing breaks: the catalog, search, every category and every game page work exactly the same. What you lose is memory — favorites, history and the streak are anonymous by design, so without the identifier there is no way for us to reconnect you to them.
